For schools of magic:

Amaromancy: Plausible
Anagram Gematria: Not until the 80's/90's at least.
Annihilomancy: Possible
Bibliomancy: Quite likely
Cliomancy: Invented before/during WW2
Cryptomancy: Still around, weakend after WW2, common perception of truth
probably allows for the removal of the 10% penalty.
Dipsomancy: Exists. Dirk Allen is slinging mojo around in the mid-50s, as is
Dr. Ugly Mouth.
Entropomancy: Supposedly invented during/after WW2
Epidermomancy: Plausible
Geomancy: Plausible
Herpemancy: Plausible
Iconomancy: Possible, though most (if not all) the example icons are still
alive and it's probably still primarily a Chinese practice.
Infomancy: Improbable, at least until the advent of the internet.
Irascamancy: Plausible
Kleptomancy: Plausible
Mechanomancy: Around, hasn't declined quite as much as it has in the 90's
Narco-Alchemy: Possible
Oneiromancy: Not until the 90's
Personomancy: Plausible
Plutomancy: Certainly around. (Tough luck about inflation though.)
Plutophagy: Possible, though somewhat doubtful
Pornomancy: Not until 1996
Thanatomancy: Plausible.
Urbanomancy: Plausible
Videomancy: Maybe just starting up.

Mostly off the top of my head and, some of these are just suggestions,
exception the ones with specific times.
I hope it helps, your game sounds pretty interesting.
