In a secret warren of caves somewhere in Scandinavia. Perhaps the nazis
succeed in killing her and then turn the caves into a secret base of
operations that can be bought in to your modern day campagin at a later
point. There is a Michael Morcock story that's part of the Jerry Conerlius
Chronicles that involves this - nazi's using it to research nuclear power
rather than the bomb etc.

You could also take off the film the 13th Warrior (
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120657/) with the godwalker finding allies
amongst a matriachal tribe of cave dwellers. All of these ideas are quite
gonzo but thats hard to resist with nazis.
