Ja Ke, the doc is in the mail.
I would like to be as far away from conspiracy-roleplay as possible, the
typical UA cult isn't a world-spanning shadowy organization (except for the
sleepers of course, but they already have their own sourcebook). Maybe
three cults (one personal-texas-compound-type with maybe 20 people, one
scientology-cell gone worse , one fightclub/neonazicult). Each getting a
one-page writeup.
Then a couple of pages how to make your own cult, how cults work, loads and
loads on how to roleplay cultists, GM-ing cults, making cults scary, goals
for cults, what cults can do that could make the players want to approach
them. some brief ideas on different types of cults (personal (charismatic
guru), apocalyptic (the world will end 2012-04-09, sell all your stuff and
come to Jerusalem, Arizona), personal development (we solve your problems -
scientology), pseudo-christian(muslim, buddist, shiek), lifestyle
(breatharians), pagan/spritual (Ana, any thing with "coven" in the name),
satanists, nazis......)
Then a careful investigation in/writeup of one single cult, I suggest the
UFO-cult in Bi3P.

pass me a copy, I think I added something to it, but it was interesting in
spite of that iirc.
So if we were to make a Book O' Cults supplement, how would we lay it out
and categorise the Cults and how to run/deal with said cults?
For example, should we layout the book/categorise the cults by how open
they
are, so there would be one section dealing with secretive and insular cults
that exist outside society in some way, public cults (those that are
official organisations like Scientology and some of the wackier brands of
evangelicalism), and finally Open Secret Cults that hide in plain sight by
being tied into other uncult-like organisations (masonic police connections
in britain come to mind, but cults that are made up entirely of waiters ala
Fight club come to mind also)
Of course how the cults are led (democracies/oligarchies/autocracies) and
their ultimate aims could also split them up into mouth sized morsels.
Ja ke - Who's first experience with UA was a weird arse Mage game including
a cult of Wu Keng (cross dressing demon worshipping shamans) that
worshipped
a UA demon that was temporarily inhabiting a microwave and had convinced
the
Shamans that it was a Stove God.
