I also toyed with this formula spell, but never really made up my mind about
it. It would have worked well with the cult, but seemed a bit too... I don't
know. Never made up my mind, see?

I Was Here
5 sig
With the completion of five large murals spaced evenly around a circle no
more than a mile in diameter, all tied together in such a way that if put
together they make one large picture, the tagger then travels to the center
of the circle and sprays his face or a very stylized version of his personal
tag, mixing blood and other bits of her flesh in with the paint. This spell
has two effects. The lesser effect occurring anytime a single person sees
all six tags, the bomber gains 2 minor charges. For the spell to last a long
time, the tags might be well-hidden, but this varies, as does the income in
charges. More impressively, with the six-piece mural complete (and, being
part of the spell, this does not grant charges), the tagger has marked the
area as His. This is similar to both the My Turf spell of the Urbanomancer
and the various abilities of the True King. The benefits it conveys are both
useful and expensive. Besides the 5 sig. charges, the tagger also
permanently loses 10 wound points, these being invested into his connection
with the neighborhood and must rejuvenate the strength of the magick each
year on some personally meaningful date with at least 2 sig charges. As well
as being able to, a la My Turf, be made aware of certain activities or types
of people entering his turf (1 defined when the spell is cast plus 1 for
every minor charge every week thereafter), the tagger can set a very vague
mood in the background of the area. This doesn’t make everyone in the area
automatically happy or suicidal, but instead changes the general FEEL of the
area. What used to look like a depressing ghetto now feels like the
poor-but-content American-myth Depression era small-town feeling, down but
not out. Over time, this can have a powerful effect on the locals. The most
important part of this spell, though, occurs when the tagger dies. The part
of the tagger invested into the area allows part of the tagger’s personality
to stay behind. It is unsure whether or not this takes part of the tagger’s
soul or if it is just the remnants of the personality shed on death, but
regardless a part of the tagger remains behind to watch over his area until
all 6 murals are decayed, tagged over, or whitewashed. This husk-self is
essentially a demon, though unintelligent, and capable of communicating
slightly through the manipulation of tags and sites that have been heavily
vandalized. This communication is always symbol-ridden and never direct.
Additionally, the husk can cause three minor and one significant unnatural
phenomena a month in addition to the graffiti-speaking.
A side effect of this spell, after the tagger dies, she becomes an Urban
street legend in that neighborhood, well remembered or respected, depending
on the tagger in question and their overall likeability.
