I should mention that Sascha's body is currently nowhere to be found, having been disposed of before Bill got to his father's. I did this because to my thinking at the time, her body wasn't present at the crash, and I didn't think the players would keep investigating after the remaining Bill turned up dead. Now, I could have had her body in the Hyundai; at the crash, it's wedged in metal, unseen. It would have ended mystery of missing little girl when Bill's father found it in the car.
Don and the dead policemen are only traceable to the PCs if they are identified as being at the scene; the authorities do not know that Bill or his daughter had anything to do with the massacre.
And I've erased the other Bills from reality. The holdup happened, sans Bill. The cult never existed in the first place.
The police, however, are investigating the death of the second Bill Toge. He was stabbed multiple times, apparently in Yuba from the state of his apartment. Right now, there is a potential link with Jason, since he went to Bill's father and ex.
I've thought of having the FBI find Jason's double. The original Jason is a street performer, who doesn't own much of anything or have a conventional life. My plan is to have his double become convinced that he is the real one; he's not a loser and vagabond. He understands finance, the good life, yadda yadda. He *is* getting credit cards and bank accounts. So, would a routine investigation check credit reports?
Jason's problem is that he's stuck his nose into Bill's "murder" and Sascha's kidnapping. He's asked weird questions, lied about talking to the authorities, and led a grieving family to think that he knows something about where the missing Sascha is. If nothing else, the authorities are going to want to know why, and I imagine he could be charged with obstructing an investigation, if nothing else.
