[UA] Help! Dumb PC investigated for kidnapping (Bi3P)

The FBI would trace the phone number, question Jason about the events.
If he's cooperative and his story checks with the known facts, it will
stop there.

But... there are other things here. Firstly, there are the two missing
cops, Sascha and Don's corpses and the dead Bill Toge at his father's.
Plus, depending on how the third scenario finished, there may be a Bill
Toge also in custody who was known to have been hundreds of miles away
in New Mexico at the time... Now there is one thing you need to know
about law enforcement: they have LOTS of available man-hours to check
things like this out and with modern computers cross referencing stuff
is easy.

So, if the FBI are following up on a kidnapping lead, they question him
informally. If they are looking at two dead cops and a dead kid, they
will probably be a bit more emphatic, but again, cooperation and a good
story and the PC is probably fine. If they are able to cross check with
Bill-3, they are going to be less understanding.

Now, if you REALLY want things to go weird, have the FBI get in touch
with Jason's evil twin instead of him...

Some other fun evil-twin stuff would involve the whole identity theft
deal, except the signatures would check out. Sorry sir, your account was
closed yesterday...
