Might, but I already pulled that schtick in the intro
session to the game. so they've sort of seen it
before.

The problem is, when he made his character, he swore
he wasn't going to do any magic of any kind, so he
went low on soul and whatnot, and tried to make a
brawler. I.e. He tried to min/max and make a good
fighter. Which he did. But, after the first session,
he figured out that having a street fighter just
really isn't a good idea in a game where, more often
than not, the "bad guys" are going to shoot you at
best. So he's really screwed himself as far as having
any kind of adept character.

Yeah, that's the Scholar, I think. I am nearly
certain; however, that he wants the Pilgrim due to
being able to flip/flop a skill related to his quest.
I.e. My prediction is that he is going to try to work
in a gun skill, and that he wants to be the Pilgrim so
he can flip/flop (as that was a specific example
described in the book).
Which is another example of missing the point. I.e.
(spoiler for Bi3P) Bill Toge made two police officers
*explode.* You can have your flip flopping roll all
you want, but when people can make you explode...
boom!
