[UA] Mess with this character, a lot

The sign is going to start talking to him at somepoint right? The PC's
mother come back to haunt him maybe, mocking and nagging him in equal
amounts.
If you could some how make him start trying to cut the sign off his body you
could probably get him to shift towards epederimancy over time as the sign
keeps reappearing on other parts of his body, and slowly ever so slowly he
realises that he was an epederimancer all along and the sign was just his
old suppressed obsession reasserting itself.
Isn't there some seeker of knowledge specific avatar in statosphere?
