Actually, the link I found suggests that pastuerizing was invented in 1864.

1901: The vacuum cleaner
1903: The airplane (Orville & company)
1905: The hydrofoil
1907: The helicopter

Going to be a few years until the biggies hit -- 1923 for the TV, 1930 for 
the jet engine. 1938 for the photocopier . . . don't even want to think 
about what a Mechanomancer could do with a major charge off of the first 
photocopier . . .
