Second . . . that 100-year gap for mechanomancy usable tech gets me 
thinkin'. As the years progress mechanomancers have access to more and more 
fun technology. Unfortunately, ignoramus that I am, I have no clue as to 
what technological breakthroughs happened when -- I'm clueless both on the 
"technological breakthrough" side and the "history" side of the question.

But you smart folks, I am sure, are more clued in than I am. If you were a 
Mechanomancer what year would you be drooling for? Anything cool get 
invented in 1903-1910?
