[UA] Sleeper "Cirle of Friends"

Possible spoiler for "The Butterfly Effect" within this post.

I'm starting a UA group this Friday, with people who haven't played a lot of
it before. I thought that it would be good to start with street-level
characters, get them clued-in over a few scenarios, and move them to
global-level types for the start of To Go.

The group premise is a Circle of Friends - people who all knew one another
and were friends as children/teens, and have kinda kept in touch over the
years. The PCs will be reunited through Bi3P, and discover that they have
some strangeness in common ("Why do we all have an unknown key on our
keyrings? Hey, you get blackouts too?").

Due to the weirdness of Bi3P, the PCs are now able to discover the weirdness
in -their- lives. They all have a key to a house in LA (a key they'd never
-noticed- before) which contains a small bit of military and espionage
hardware. They realise that $500 is deposited into their bank accounts each
month, and don't know why. Etc, etc - any suggestions of other cool
inconsistencies are appreciated!

The parents of the PCs were in a Sleeper cabal, and used mind-alteration
magic to create the next generation of "sleeper" Sleepers. Whenever all the
PCs had blackouts in their past, it was because their "sleeper"
personalities had been activated and they'd gotten together to deal with
some threat.

The Comte has effectively suborned them into his service during Bi3P,
putting an end to the blackouts. Additionally, the paradoxes of that
scenario can now bleed into the PCs' lives. If the PCs attempt to "remember"
the blackout periods, they will be mentally transported to that time, and be
able to act on their current knowledge. This allows me to run flashback
scenarios (such as Fly to Heaven). This is where I'm drawing from "The
Butterfly Effect," but without such blatant time-alteration.

It is hoped that the PCs will discover their nature, and become players in
the OU. Whether they choose to continue working for the Sleepers or become
freelance is up to them.

Thoughts? Any potential problems spring to mind?
