I like Godlike a lot, but I must admit that it is not much use at all for a
non-War-theatre game. There is very very little on the out of combat
situations, like home front work etc. It is definitely weighted towards
warfare.
Saying that, however, I am about to start up a weird Grant Morrison esque
worldhopping game using the Godlike rule set, simply because it is great on
the powers and very very good for large scale combat. I've upped the
cinematic nature of the game a bit, though. I played through a sample
mission with my group, and they loved the rules to bits. And, thankfully, I
intend to lead them through an alternate world where the Nazis won world was
II, so  all those stats for Panzers and King Tigers shouldn't go to waste.
