The book gets dumped in the storeroom. It gets flipped
through or bandied about. One of three things then
happen.

It gets passed around halfheartedly and damaged (it
becomes the phantom of the book opera). It gets read
and loved by one of the patrons and disappears. It
gets put on inventory and shelved (although this is
the least possible occurence.
