This is a mod for combat or B&D/S&M rpg simulations.
Combat Additions
Tangling
This sort of attack includes all sorts of bonds that
hamper character movement such as rope-ties, lassos,
whips, bolos, and nets.
The Attack
The attacker rolls his skill check (a weapon or Knot
Use). The defender may Dodge the weapon attack.
A successful attack causes a Tangle score equal to the
die roll.
The Tangled character can try and free himself, if he
rolls a success skill check (that is relevant to the
task), and that is above the Tangle score.
If the roll was successful reduce the Tangle value by
the sum of the skill check. If the character has some
sort of sharp implement, that may increase the skill
result as if would hand-to-hand combat.
Getting Free
Once the Tangle score is at 10 or less, the bonds fall
away and the character is free.
Assisting the trapped character
If you are assisting the Tangled character, simply
roll a relevant Stat check and reduce the Tangle score
by the sum of the Stat check.
If you roll a Critical
Reduce the Tangle score to zero.
If you roll a Good Pair
Reduce the Tangle score by -10
If you roll a Bad Pair
Increase the tangle score by +10
Fumble
Add the sum of the Tangle score to the Tangle score.
Lots of time
If the character has lots of time it takes as many
rounds to get free as the Tens value of the Tangle
score.
Specialised Skills
If the character has a skill like Escapism, the Gm may
allow additional rolls, bonuses, etc.
Quality of Tangling Material
The Gm is free to impose skill shifts depending on the
quality of the tangling materials.
