It's not legitimate. There's too much of the body that
doesn't dissolve. I think all you fatty tissue and
cartiliginous tendons remain. And they clog
everything.
The absolute freaking best way. A shallow grave,
insert corpse, fill remaining hole with lime. Cover
lime pit with big stones (they roll and shift and
settle as the corpse is eaten away). Keep sprinkingly
sand over everything.
I think I read a Joe R Lansdale book where the corpse
was shoved down into an anthill. This was years ago
and my memory is fuzzy.
I personally think a giant sausage grinding machine is
great. Especially with Ordo Corpulentus running
around.
See they're back again.
