I agree. Besides those little mistakes are what makes
games happen. Personally I'm going to assume that the
typewriter ribbon has replaced another ribbon -
getting parts for those old machines is difficult, and
is now going on auction on e-Bay for other typewriter
enthusiasts.

The Sleepers recognise it's Dirk Allen's custom
typewriter with it's Jim Beam motif and enamelled
Allen-signature.

The universe has put them together again and will try
and painfully, slowly reconstruct 333 by making typos.
If all the typos are placed together in order, the
whole first draft can be reconstructed.

Unless the bidding Chronicler/Bibliomancer gets out
bid, the reconstruction can take years... and years.
