Okay, I'm immediately picturing a prestigious college physics department
headed by a draconian professor who subtly distorts his program's
admissions policy to exclude Hispanics.  He's exceeding his goals with
other minority groups, so no one makes a fuss... except the one student he
kicked out years ago, the one who had all those crazy, disturbing, EVIL
ideas about folded quantum dimensions and their interactions with
CONSCIOUSNESS, for Pete's sake.  No, Professor Prudhomme ejected him and
rightly so, and he doesn't feel a bit bad about the student going to work
as a crooked accountant, abusing his mathematical abilities (which even
Prudhomme admits are prodigious).

Professor Prudhomme's sleeping pill habit has nothing to do with guilt.
Nothing whatever.
