Long Pig BBQ ( was RE: [UA] Silly Epideromancy Rules question )

	I really don't think there would be much of a difference, whether you liked it or not. I once had a breakfast of brains and eggs (Calf brains). It tasted really good, but as soon as I found out what it was I threw up, and as grossed out. It had nothing to do with the flavor of the dish, but rather that I had eatten something I consider inedible. So while logically, I tell myself, 'but it was tasty', the parts of me which correspond to my madness meters says 'but it was BRAINS'. The madness meter parts win and i typically gag, like I did just then. It's not the body;s reaction to the consumption, it's the inherant taboo. Now some cultures and people of course have different tabbos and would suffer different levels of checks, or no checks at all. It's along the lines of reminding Catholics they are engaging in ritual symbolic cannibalism. They are grossed out, or angered, or enraged, or in denial. Despite the fact it is true, it doesn't sit well with their views of the world and their religion. Not being as offended by cannibalism may not even mean you have more hardened marks, it just may mean you have a fundamentally different outlook on life, and self.
	Unless you're Susan, where I think the functional term is sociopath. :)*

That seems right. Finding out you were a cannibal seems different than
finding out you Liked being a cannibal.

<snip>
This allows a nice merging into another topic brought up, the rating for
accidently eating human flesh. I'm not sure about the reason for its
ranking but I'm sure that a lot of it would be that in the situation you
would have enjoyed the meal. If the meal was bad it would probably be less
stressful than if it was the best meat you'd ever had. In the first case
you were forced to eat something vile and detected that. In the second case

you like the taste of human flesh, which is far harder for most people to
work into their concept of self.
