[UA] My UA Moment - Witness: Niall Sweby

The bus home yesterday stopped at the lights. Idly looking out the
window I noticed a burly guy, clean unco-ordinated clothes, utterly
wasted at 5pm. The kind of guy who starts his day in the pub and moves
to the street in the evening, sitting on the steps of a front door,
chatting to everyone and no one. 

What everyone else saw, if they were even looking, was the drunk notice
a green bottle a couple of feet in front of him. The bottle rolls away
from him - presumably moved by a wind eddy. He looks up at the bus,
catches someones eye and points at the bottle, laughing. The bottle
rolls back towards him. Still laughing, he gestures again, and - perhaps
because it was on a tiny slope, perhaps another wind eddy, it moves way
from him again, but in exactly the same direction. It doesn't roll to
one side, or in a circle but in a straight line. 

Of course what I saw in those few seconds was a dipsomancer making a
bottle dance in the street. Next time I go through Camden, I'll be
keeping an eye out for the drunk.
