Здравствуйте, Chris.
CC> I read a book about Stalingrad during the German siege in WWII.
Not _STALIN_grad but _LENIN_grad. Big difference.
Stalingrad situated at the Volga river in south.
Leningrad at Neva near the Baltic Sea - far north.
Stalingrad was largest city battle field during the WWII.
Leningrad - symbol of besieged city.
CC> There was a whole cannibal culture that developed. They gave all
CC> sorts of medical reasons for this mainly due to the overabsorption
CC> of hormones in the cannibals body.
I am university graduate historian but I have information about
isolated instances of cannibalism in the besieged Leningrad.
But I know about "post mortem" cannibalization due to the poor harvest
in Ukraine and Russia in 1930's.
But it is natural practice for the human societies. Foul practice but
natural. For example - "Salambo".
IMO OC is _un_natural.
