You could try a smaller US city like Baltimore.

Otherwise there's Brazil. Its big, it has the Amazon,
it has extremes in cruetly, it has a criminal economy
and state corrpution, it has a big Jesus, and it has a
strong Santeria orthodoxy.

Otherwise try running in your home town. I assume
you're from Portugal. There's lots of nifty bits and
essentially the whole of Europe is your backyard.

I try and run with cities people know - even if it's
just fictionalised representations, but one's I've
personally experienced for a while.
