One of the original black and white versions of Frankenstein
uses the same trick - the sets are intentionally built so
that all of the corners are either 85 or 95 degrees, not 90.
 It's almost impossible to tell, but your subconscious
(apparantly) picks up on it and is screaming "there's
something wrong with this picture" at you whilst you're
watching it.
