About the Bartman Baseball: As any good cliomancer or Avatar of the MVP
knows (as well as anyone who has read Underworld from Don DeLillo) the Bartman
Baseball is destined to stand out for the future history of the U.S. of A. What
will happen to the US can be seen in the lives of the people who possess the
ball - as usual it tends to be stolen, exchanged and lost.

DondeLillo's Underworld recreates a kind of hidden history of the USA by
following the whereabouts of the baseball which Bobby Thompson hit as  home run
in the last of the ninth inning, thereby winning the pennant for the Giants
against the Dodgerson October 4, 1951, on the same day that the Russians
exploded their first nuclear bomb.
