Caffeine Adepts ( was RE: [UA] Re: Is God A Carp?)

I was thinking so not much of sleep depravation (which can be fun) but more
along the lines of doing more, faster.

Something like an adept ritual "Celerity of the Machine" cutting work times
in half or increasing skill shifts by 20% or some such. Minor blast = heart
palpitations, major blast = heart attack / stroke.

Basically a world view that life is better on caffeine; thinking faster,
reacting faster, more clarity of thought.

I agree with Jade's thought also; this is getting close to narqui works. A
difference might be in outlook: narqui works enhance, but also distort. The
caffeine adept truly feels more human than human, and would look at the
effects of narqui works as inhuman.

Or some such. Still needs a lot of fleshing out.

Oneiromancers, a la PoMoMa, get magick from sleep deprivation, and
should find some high energy drinks good for erasing some but not all
of their penalties to action. OTOH, said drinks are usually targeted
towards entropomantic risk taking/extreme sports types, for some
reason.
