That's a very good resume ! However I would include other stuff like the
boom of massive envangelist christian churches (I am talking bispo
macedo here), they are not 'magick', but includes a number of unnatural
effects -- always preaching exorcisms and rituals that will allow you to
prosper, in a material and spiritual way.

(pls if I am offending anyone here, tell me so - it's not my intention)

Also, Santo Daime (http://www.santodaime.org) has alleged roots  in
traditions from the people that lived in the forest. Not only the
natives, but also the runaway slaves, and their descendants. The main
ritual consists (crudely speaking, sorry) of singing and drinking
ayahuasca.
