[UA] Brazilian magick

Ok, here in Brazil (and if someone wants, please, correct me), we have
several kinds of "magick". 

1) Kardecist "magick", or sort off. Manly prays, but also "purified
water" and such. Lots of brazilians are christian-kardecists, even if it
is not truly possible, taking that the statements of both religions have
serious issues with the other, its a common thing. Is not too uncommon
to have some candomblé/umbanda also mixed with kardecism. For most part
is a very beneficial religion or cult, with people that don´t ask, and
even avoid even de dizimo that other religions, more formal, asks for.
There are tons of spiritism books, and is a kind of genre around here. 

2) Christian symphatic magick and superticious is fairly common too,
specially in the inland areas, in Northeast and the Minas Gerais region.
They have some myths that are very peculiar also, and some fun stuff,
like teas made with pictures of saints that cures disease. Also, some
sympathic magick and natural medicine got mixed, making it even more
peculiar. And no, is nothing like mexican santeria. 

3) Umbanda and Candomblé is fairly close, and very like the description
you can find at Focault´s Pendulum. Is a magick genre that uses spirits,
and claim to be african, but are not animistic as their counterpart, and
more like acessing to devilish spirist of dead religious people of their
kind. Is not like voodoo, despite the origins been traced also to
Africa. You can see something like that when watching Angel´s Heart. 

Those are the major "magick genres", but also have indigenous magick,
wich complicates A LOT, since there is not one single system, and
sometimes they are really different from each other, besides, we "city
people" have almost no contact, and most indians in Brazil right now,
are using jeans intead of living in Ocas.
