[UA] reading question 2nd try

If you liked Last Call, I bet you'll like the semi-sequels "Expiration Date"
and "Earthquake Weather". The first one has a bunch of new and interesting
(read: weird) characters and a cameo appearance of Arky Mavranos. The second
one ties the stories of Last Call and Expiration Date together, including
appearances of all the main characters that survived Last Call.

Earthquake weather is the weakest of all three, but still a good book, IMHO.
Expiration Date is fantastic.

Then, I'd like to recommend Powers' "Drawing of the Dark". It's a pretty
tongue-in-cheek fun renaissance romp, doesn't take itself too serious and -
after reading - made me dig up all those old Warhammer FRP books again and
play some fantasy renaissance-style... 8)

It rocks. Not as much as Anubis Gates, but still much more than Earthquake
Weather.

I've got Declare, but haven't read it yet.

??? All my Powers books were bought through Amazon Germany. No problem at
all, if you can live with about 2 weeks waiting time...
