Briefly, there's the "cross" crucifixion and then's
the one with the X. Sections of your body, I think
like around the bicep or so, were "tied", so in places
I guess one would be "hanged"; since the nastiness
really came from trying to hold yourself up in this
incredibly uncomfortable and painful way to keep your
body weight from sufficating you.

But anyways, to quickly get off this topic (why don't
I read the e-mails in the order I receive them), the
hung motif I've always found interesting...always had
this weird idea for a story, or a chronicle, about
hanging...some sort of cult stretching back to
biblical times and odin worship blah blah blah and
surving through the old west and finally being wrapped
up in the Klan...'cuz I've had this weird idea in my
head for a UA chronicle that was set in a more rural
kind of setting, you know a sort of a Blue Velvet,
Twin Peaks, American Gothic (god, I loved that tv
show) kind of thing. Has anyone else done anything
like that, 'cuz on one hand UA seems to be geared for
this whole city feel, but I think Smalltown, USA would
work...?
