Sorry, Ed, but that's rubbish.
Using the King James translation (Not my choice of text, but one that most
people can at least find:)
Matt: 27:35 "And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting
lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They
parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots."
Mark: 15:25 "And it was the third hour, and they crucified him."
Luke: 23:33 "And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary,
there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and
the other on the left."
John 19:18 "Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either
side one, and Jesus in the midst."
Without going into the whole synoptic thing and the Quelle source, I think
it's pretty obvious that modern translations (and I'm counting the KJV as
modern) all agree that Jesus was crucified.
Of course, if you want to quote from the original Greek or Aramaic, please
feel free.
