This reminds me....

Two UAish comic series out there right now, both from Avatar Press -- a 
company usually known for bad T&A books.

The first is SCARS, by Warren Ellis and Jacen Burrows.

The second is THE COURTYARD, by Alan Moore and (again) Jacen Burrows.

Both are good, and the latter is amazing -- it reads very much like 
something out of  "Delta Green", and reminded me very much of John Tynes' 
work.
