Surreal Eye sight related point: I read the title of this message and every
repetition of it up until WWI as "Edward Kelley" (who, as we all know, was
best buddies with Dr. John Dee. And a medium. And he slept with Dee's wife.
And he either discovered or invented Enochian)....

Maybe Kelty and Kelly were the same man, but he only remembers who he is
when he reaches Chicago. In the mean time, he'd been wandering for the last
few centuries with his memory suppressed, and the marvellous and lucky
escapes were due to the "Angels" (read, Demons in the UA sense), that he
formerly dealt with giving him a hand along the way. In Chicago, he bumps
into the ancestors of the current nasty urbanomancer folks there, who
managed to restore his memory with some soil from Mortlake (him and Dee's
house). He then goes absolutely batshit, and is unable to even remember what
a camara is let alone how to use it.
