Why not?
Gangland is a Mafia story. It's not going to work anywhere near as well as a
Tong/Triad/Crips story, because it uses themes and imagery specific to a
western tradition.
And above that, I like Mafia stories. Hell, I like crime stories in general,
but I came up with Gangland after watching several Mafia-related shows &
movies.
Which is not to say I couldn't/wouldn't do a UA game about other crime
groups (although I'd need to be careful about racial issues and protrayals
to satisfy my own kneejerk liberalism). But right now, I don't want to.
