Dude, that's pretty fucked up.  Julie (or whatever her real
name is) needs to learn a few lessons about gaming.  Sure,
the GM needs to respect his players' wishes and not screw
them over too much, but this was a freaking one-shot.  One
of the coolest aspects of one-shots is that there is no
long-lasting consequence for your character if you do
something stupid or dangerous.  Going out in a blaze of
glory is one of the coolest parts.  She should have
appreciated that.

Also, it sounds like she wants more control of the game
than the GM.  If she doesn't appreciate UA's madness
meters, then UA is definitely not for her.

And regardless of how you feel about where a game is going,
shouting obscenities around a bunch of kids is too far. 
That's the kind of action you take when you find out that
your ex-spouse gambled away some child support money or
that your brother beat your father to death in a nursing
home.  That is not the action you take just because you
disagree with a GM and/or the game.  She needed a chill
pill.

Well, I hope the gaming store realizes that it was her
fault and not the fault of the game.  I figured it had to
do with the content (like my prison experiment scenario
involving homosexual rape).  Turns out UA was banned
because of a pissy power gamer.

And what's funny is that I expected Rick to be the problem
player.
