The biggest problem that I have with it is that it seems like only half of
a good adventure, written for two systems; out of 64 pages, you only get
about 13 1/2 of actual adventure text.
The PCs are given a mission, go through a short dungeon and deliver the
McGuffin. Personally, I'd have to add a hell of a lot before I could run
it; my players would be somewhat pissed that it was so straightforward,
especially since I'm known for my particularly Machiavellian mind.
One thing that did strike me, though, is AotM's similarities to the
Witchfire Trilogy. You could convert Witchfire to UA without too many
troubles, I guess, so long as you're prepared to spackle over some of the
gaping holes. I'd want to downplay the role of Alexia (or whatever her
name is), though; her actions do tend to sideline the PCs at times.

"'Kevin,' David interrupted, 'what the Germans should have done
was show the Russians a dead cat and ask them to explain it.'
"'That would have stopped the Soviet offensive right there,' I said.
"Zhukov would still be trying to account for the cat's death.'"
