Pshaw! Everyone knows that keeping your parking space is
the most important thing. Sanity in the workplace is
optional. Look around you.
One thing I wanted to do for an Over the Edge game (which
can be adapted for Unknown Armies) is to have the
characters related. They don't have to be immediate
family, and they don't have to know each other right off
the bat. In fact, I had two characters who were mother and
son. But the son's father was also his grandfather, if you
catch my meaning. So, clearly, this was a dysfunctional
family, which made sense in OtE.
The group was called to Al Amarja (insert UA city here) for
a reading of the will of some rich-ass relative. There
would be GMCs of other family members who were just as
twisted as the PCs. The first few scenarios would just be
the airing out of skeletons. Then the will would be read,
and the relative apparently wants the family members to go
on some wacky scavenger hunt (which would be a hoot on Al
Amarja).
The PCs bond...maybe they don't like each other, but
dammit, they are family!
Then there were open possibilities...like is the relative
dead? Is he possessing another family member? What's
glowing in the briefcase? You know, typical wackiness.
Grittify it for UA tastes.

=====
"Well, you take the freshly shaved rat, and you marinade it in a puddle for a while."
"Hmm, for how long?"
"Until it's drowned. Then you stretch it out under a hot light bulb, then you get within dashing distance of the latrine, and then you scoff it right down."
"So that's sauteing, and fricasseeing?"
"Exactly the same, just a slightly bigger rat."
