Now that sounds like a pretty good plot. And it should of worked out well to
your liking, maybe the players didn't have the heart for it? I know most of
the ol gamers that are in my group are unwilling to try new rpg's... they
like their fantasy and dive into that with a passion. When it comes to other
genre's like contempary, futuristic or superheroes they don't have a passion
for it like they do with fantasy.
As a GM I don't mind running fantasy, but I like to have run the odd game
from the 200+ rpgs that I do have sitting on my self.

Don't let the first game let you down. I knwo they say first impressions are
the best impressions. Give it the old college try and do it again. Run Bi3P
and warp their fragile little minds. :)
