As I mentioned before, we don't know what happens if the Count were to get
it in the neck. Does the Universe continue on as it has? What happens to
the other members of the Clergy? Does the Count's continued existence
somehow protect us from the nasties that dwell Beyond?
There, we have a cause and an effect; we just have to link the two with a
causal chain. OTOH, we are talking UA; case-and-effect isn't necessarily a
given.
