Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster.
I'm looking for a little advice regarding a concept I
had for a cool UA adventure/campaign. It goes like
this:
Each player makes a mundane character, some kind of
white collar, upper middle class type. Once the
characters are made, I run each of them through a
brief scenario, describing a perfectly ordinary day at
the office. They go home to the wife and kids, watch
some TV, and go to bed.
They then wake up in an alleyway. Having no idea what
has happened, they each go out investigating, where
they meet up with each other. More hilarity ensues,
and eventually they discover two things.
1) Someone else is living their life. A totally
different person has taken over their house, work, and
family and no one (besides the PCs) remembers things
being any different.
2) Each Player character is, or rather was this same
person. All of them were, at one time, one particular
white collar, upper middle class man, and now someone
else has taken the role.
>From here, I have nothing. I think this is a really
cool idea, all the PCs having been this man at one
point or another, but I don't know where to go once
they make the revelation, or even why this is
happening.
Any advice or suggestions you can offer would be
greatly appreciated.
