A long time ago, someone got tired of their high pressure
life. They could have turned to drugs, or roleplaying, or
drink, or sex, but instead, they turned to magic. They
worked out how to create a persona and spend time in it,
shifting their consciousness to and from it as they needed.
However, the process was expensive, needing several rare
ingredients to allow it to happen. There was also the
expense of setting up the normal life that the persona plays
in.
So the person in charge started a mystical time share.
Close friends were offered the chance to spend a few days at
a time in this normal life, with relatively no stresses or
concerns and then back to their high flying life.
Unfortunately, sometimes (very rarely) the return journey
doesn't work very well. Sometimes the person making the
trip suffers complete amnesia, leaving them able to
function, but not actually knowing who they are.
So, what can they do? They'll recognise that they were this
normal man, and they'll all share memories of intimate
details of his life but they won't know why. How abouts
they need to find out that they have amnesia and fix it,
before taking on the company that put them in this position
(and which has the necessary powers of attourney to run
their companies while they're "away"?
