For the record, Dylan. We were very happy to receive your submissions for
Unknown Armies. The theme of Issue 11 was 'Mystic Places'. And HMRTSF
certainly fit the bill. And if that was an example of some of your
least-pitchable material, then we would love to see the good stuff! :)
The Themes in DEMONGROUND are not necessarily all-encompassing! Every
'themed' issue we had, also had non-thematic material. The themes are meant
to inspire, not restrict. Issue 13, which is on the launch pad right now,
and will be out the door next week doesn't have an assigned theme, but it is
every bit as long as issues 11 & 12. Issue 14, which should follow in
February has a tenative theme of "Terror".
At the moment, we have no UA sumissions in the queue for either of them.
The fanzine concept is tricky that way. We are often forced into the mode
of "if we build it, will they come?" And unfortunately, nobody else has
taken up the sword to further UA's cause in DEMONGROUND.
Well, at least a few of you are reading it. Imagine what would happen if
there was even more UA stuff in it. DEMONGROUND is a fanzine. You guys are
the fans. Hmmmm...
