Hmmm... I'll reserve my opinion on that.  Not that
Castle's originals were anything to shout about, but
the new films (which my wife insisted I watch) seemed
like little more than what Castle could have done if
he'd had more money and less moxie.

I'll admit, It didn't even occur to me to do such a
thing (I was just bristling at the rather poor editing
in the film, not watching for inspiration, like I
should've been.)  Good work.

Promethea is certainly the most magically-oriented of
all Moore's comics, with good reason.  I've only read
the first six or so, that I borrowed from a friend,
and I'll admit they're pretty swell.  (The Weeping Ape
is a pretty neat character, for instance.)

But I think, oddly enough, that more ideas for
workable story lines come from Strangers in Paradise. 
If you mix the two titles up, you get some good UA pieces.
