All right, I guess I am the only one, but right now I'm thinking
about Buffy Season 3, Episode 1 "Anne". Buffy investigates the
mysterious disappearances of homeless youths. The common
denominator of the cases is A) a kind of shelter for the homeless
youths and B) a center for blood donations.

Of course, the youth shelter is a gateway into a demonic
dimension and the blood donations ascertain wether the teenagers
can survive the slave labor in this dimension long enough.
