No, but the old style magic lacks modern resonance. I mean, you can have
kibomancers who divine the future from reading the shape of newsgroup
threads in UA. This stuff is just easier for the modern mind to deal
with than the ancient stuff that's really not relevant to us.

Right, they do. It's just that they're in the past, and being all
genuine and stuff would rather avoid the new agey types who are
*obviously* out of touch, all while the new agey types pick up the
avatars and the magic paths.
