Ah, yes, the old "multi-person avatars" discussion.  I think the general 
  conclusion was "It doesn't really fit the rules, but hey, it's your game."

Some who disliked the idea in general were prepared to accept the idea 
of The Lovers as a single archetype, as they had a whole "unity in 
duality" thing the way the Mystic Hermie has the "duality in unity." 
The other archetype some supported more than most was The Twins, but I 
believe it was less popular than The Lovers.


If I recall correctly, this debate was in early '99.  If you look around 
in the archive, you should be able to find it.
