[UA] ? vs. us fanboys

 In a brief flash of having just reread some Powers, and watching Galaxy
Quest, is Shatner worth doing anything with?
 I mean, not just as some True King of Fanboys, but for his freaky mastery
of modern media?
 Is there a plot hook there, even a throwaway one, whose "freakyness"
outweighs its "dork?"
