[UA] Dark Star Orchestra

Just something somewhat UAish that somebody mentioned to me today.

Apparently this band (who I've never actually seen perform) is an odd
variant on the normal cover band idea. Instead of just playing songs by
a famous group (the Grateful Dead, in this case), they attempt to
exactly recreate a specific concert, down to the microphone placement
and the stage chatter.

Now, you just know that in a game these guys would be getting at least a
significant charge each for those concerts, for exactly recreating these
things and having the fans largely treating them as if they were the
real thing. Admittedly, I'm unsure of quite what sort of magic they'd
be able to do with it, but I'm sure there's something workable.

Actually, an arrangement like that would work quite well for a UA PC
cabal. They'd have a reason to stick together, a source of charges, and
a motivation to be on the road for long lengths of time all across the
country as they attempt to keep the inevitable weirdness they encounter
from keeping them from performing their concerts.

Oh, and their website is at http://www.darkstarorchestra.net/
