I'd find it hard to name names, Liam - these are all companies I had dealing
with back in '00, and I haven't kept in contact.

But - and this is universal enough to keep it on-list - there are a number
of small printing companies in any major Western city. Some of these are run
by cool people who are open to experiments and who would welcome unusual
jobs as a way of increasing their business profile. Don't target the big
professional printeries with your 2000-copy RPG/comic/self-published novel -
shop around the small independants and see what they have to offer.

(Another reason to do so is that such small companies are often allied with
small graphic design companies, who can do something unusual and intriguing
for your product's packaging instead of the safe-and-boring designs of big
companies.)
