Of course. As has been commented before, UA is Mage
with a human heart. The only fun Mage game I was ever
in was a FUDGE version of GURPS: Mage with a UA
approach.
(The GM used FUDGE rules and the GURPS: Mage book, but
we discarded the entire Acension War nonsense. The
"Technocracy" was just another small cabal stirring up
trouble and grabbing for the big "M," as were each of
the Traditions. The game rocked. Every single other
Mage game I have played was a miserable descent into
boredom.)
