Nice idea, but I'd let the Tech/Form scores be
multiples of ten only; ie +10 and +20 to +30. I'd
allow specialisations and prerequisite Techs or Forms
use multiples of fives.

I do play a modern day version of Ars Magica, its
called Mage: the Ascension. I do texture the game
towards OoH. I especially like playing with the
resorted House system.
