Nothing does, but boy am I trying to keep it rare in the published stuff.  I think being an "Adeptvatar" is a better option for PCs than GMCs.   Here are my two main reasons...

1) Rarity.  If they're common, it cheapens all the paranormal.  Being one OR the other is rare.  Being BOTH?  C'mon.

2) Book keeping.  Writing for the GM, I don't want to give him two sets of taboos and abilities to track on a single character.
